Booking Terms and Conditions
Vacation Rentals in Bardolino (VR)
These Terms and Conditions govern the tourist rental agreement between the Owner (hereinafter “Host”) and the guest (hereinafter “Guest”) for stays at the apartments located in Bardolino (VR), managed through the Smoobu booking system.
1. Property Identification (CIN 2026 Obligation)
In compliance with Italian national regulations, the units are registered with the following National Identification Codes (CIN):

2. Booking and Payment
Confirmation: The booking is confirmed only upon receipt of the confirmation email sent by the Smoobu system and the payment of the required deposit/balance. Payment shall be made as follows: fifty percent (50%) of the rental fee shall be payable after at checkout (the “Prepayment”); the remaining fisty percent (50%) of the rental fee (the “Final Payment”) shall be payable not later than 7 days prior to the agreed date of arrival (the “Arrival Date”) by credit card charge. If booking is made less than 7 days prior to the Arrival Date, full payment of the rental fee shall be made upon confirmation of the Booking.
Payments: Electronic payments are securely processed via gateways linked to Smoobu (Stripe/PayPal).
City Tax: The Municipality of Bardolino requires a city tax of 2,50€ per person per night (up to a maximum of 5 consecutive nights, except for municipal exemptions). This amount is not included in the booking price and must be paid in cash.
3. Children and Infants Policy
Children (more than 3 years): Guests aged more than 3 years are considered “standard guests” regarding property occupancy limits and booking rates. They must be included in the total number of guests at the time of booking.
Infants (0-2 years): Children up to 2 years of age stay free of charge. A baby cot/crib can be requested at the time of booking (subject to availability).
Safety and Responsibility: Parents or legal guardians are responsible for the supervision of minors within the property and common areas at all times during their stay
4. Cancellation Policy
Free Cancellation: Up to 14 days before arrival.
Late Cancellation: After this deadline, until 7 days before the Arrival Date 50% of the total amount will be retained.
No-show: No-show, or failure to pay the balance within 7 days prior to the arrival date, results in the charge of the full stay amount.
5. Public Security and Check-in
Identification: It is mandatory to provide identity documents for all guests (including minors) prior to entry. Data will be transmitted to the Verona Police Headquarters via the “Alloggiati Web” portal.
Times: Check-in starts at 3:00 PM until 8:00PM. Check-out is by 10:00 AM.
6. House Rules
Smoking: Strictly prohibited inside the apartments.
Quiet Hours: In respect of the local community in Bardolino, please avoid noise between 11:00 PM and 8:00 AM.
7. Liability and Damages
The Guest is liable for any damage to the property. The Host reserves the right to charge repair costs to the credit card used for booking.
8. Jurisdiction
For any dispute relating to the rental agreement, the place of jurisdiction shall be Verona.
‘Pursuant to Articles 1341 and 1342 of the Civil Code, the Customer declares that they have read and specifically approve the clauses relating to: Cancellation Penalties, Liability for Damages and House Rules.’
